About the role

As a Vending Machine Technician, you will be responsible for the replenishment, servicing, installation and basic maintenance of PPE vending machines across multiple customer sites, helping ensure that critical personal protective equipment is always available to frontline staff and also continuing to build and support Beeswift’s strong relationships with its customers.

The role will report into our Head of Vending and will be a field-based role.

Working hours for this role are flexible between 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday (for example, 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm), totalling 37.5 hours per week with a daily 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

The Candidate

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands
  • on approach.
  • Friendly and professional manner with good communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Basic mechanical or technical aptitude (advantageous but not essential).

  • Previous experience in vending, servicing, or maintenance is beneficial but not required, full training will be provided.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Replenishment of stock of PPE items (e.g., gloves, masks, safety glasses) in vending machines at customer sites.
  • Performing routine servicing, inspections, and basic repairs to maintain machine performance.
  • Responding to machine faults and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensuring all machines are clean, presentable, and fully operational at all times.

  • Completing planned routes on time and ensure site replenishment schedules are achieved

  • Accurately logging service activities, and replenishment tasks.

  • Building positive working relationships with onsite teams and represent the company to a high standard.
